seeing colored objects

summary

spectrum colors :the seven colors of light which the white light made up of.

prism: separate white light into seven colors ( red - orange - yellow-green- blue indigo - violet).

1-transparen t and translucen t colored object : absorbs all colors except it`s won color which allow it to

pass through.

G.R:1-green bottle seems green.

because it absorbs all spectrum colors except green which pass through it.

2-opaque colored object: absorbs all spectrum colors except it`s won color which reflects it

G.R:2-the banana fruit seems yellow

because it absorbs all colors and reflect yellow

3-white object reflects all spectrum colors

4- black object absorbs all spectrum colors

G.R :3- when you looks to red apple through red glass sheet ,it seems red, while it looks black by using green glass sheet

because: red apple absorbs all colors and reflects red which transmits through red sheet and not transmits

through green glass sheet

primary colors: red -green - blue

secondary colors: produce by mixing primary colors( yellow- light blue - purple )

NOTE:

1-red + green =yellow

2-green + blue=cyan ( light blue)

3-blue +red = magenta ( purple)
